In September 2026 I asked ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity for car, truck and motorcycle accident lawyers, and for slip and fall, dog bite, medical malpractice, wrongful death and workers' comp in Raleigh. Everything on this page is what came back. No sample data.
68 firms were named for vehicle accident questions. Ricci Law Firm appeared in 86.7% of answer slots and Whitley Law Firm in 80%. Nobody else reached 50%. The median firm appeared in 6.7%, once out of 15.
Firms by share of the 15 answer slots.
42 of the 68 were named in exactly one answer, on one engine.
Maginnis Howard and Whitley Law Firm lead slip and fall, dog bite and related questions at 73.3%. Ricci, the vehicle accident leader, isn't in the top 8.
Whitley is the only firm in the top 2 of both markets. Workers' comp went to Hardison & Cochran first.
Motorcycle questions went to Bello Law Firm and Hardison & Cochran first. Medical malpractice went to Edwards Kirby and Martin & Jones. Every case type a firm handles is a separate question to win.
I pulled 75 Triangle injury firms from Google Maps and checked the ones AI never named against their own websites for advertising tags. I also checked every site's robots.txt, because a firm that blocks AI crawlers can't be read by the engines at all.
The market numbers above are public. Yours are specific: how often you're named, who takes the answers you lose, the sources the engines read instead of your site, and where in the Triangle you disappear.
The same 15-answer measurement run on your firm, against the names above.
Car, truck, motorcycle, premises, malpractice, wrongful death. Most firms are named for 1, if any.
The directories and review profiles handed to the client in your place.
Run per location: Raleigh, Cary, Apex, Wake Forest, Durham. “Near me” answers change block to block.
20 minutes. I'll have run your numbers before we speak, and you keep the report whether we work together or not.
